He Walked Slowly After Midnights so That He Would not Awaken Anybody

The Imam’s wife would say: “As far as I can recall and in the course of my life with him, he woke up every night (always) to recite the optional night prayer and tried not to disturb me or the children. Our sleep was not disturbed even for a single night because of the Imam's night prayer unless that we ourselves were awake. Also, before travelling the Imam usually used to wake up to recite the optional night prayer; he would move quietly, walk stealthily and perform ablutions in such a way that he did not wake up others from their sleep.”
