We are honoured

The ‘Fath-ol-Mobeen’ military operation that brought pride and honour in its wake had just been successfully finished that we got in touch with the Imam’s household and asserted that an appointment time (for meeting with the Imam) be set aside for the Imam’s ‘Basij’ voluntary mobilization offspring who in their victory had brought great honour for Islam and the Islamic nation—and this request was met immediately. A train was arranged and the warriors of Islam were taken from the site of the military operation directly to Jamaran ‘Hosseiniyah’ Assembly hall in the same form and condition and still wearing their military operations outfits, helmets and headbands. Before the meeting, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards Corps Mohsen Rezaie expressed his sincere thanks for the Imam’s favour in granting them audience and congratulated his eminence on behalf of all the warriors of Islam for the great victory achieved in the military operations. Next it was the Imam’s turn to speak. Initially his words were time and again interrupted by the sound of the combatants’ shedding tears of joy and exhilaration. A unique spiritual and mystical atmosphere had overtaken the Jamaran ‘Hosseiniyah’ assembly hall. The Imam remained silent witnessing the zeal and fervour of his combatant offspring. After a few minutes he continued his speech stating: “We are honoured to breathe the same air that you are breathing from...” The warriors of Islam began to wail and weep loudly as soon as they heard these words which revealed to them the humility of that great man. The reality was that the Imam and the combatants understood each other quite well and loved each other.
