One of the erudite Islamic scholars who had studied the book, ‘Rasa’il’ in the city of Najaf under Imam Khomeini's instruction recounts that, in a lecture on one of the chapters of the aforesaid book the Imam stated: “I have neither read nor discussed and debated this chapter which I am now teaching you.” Despite this confession, the Imam taught and explained the lesson to us with a proficiency and command that was quite astonishing.
