The beginning of the month of Rabi al-Awwal, the happy month of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), has begun. The month in which important historical events have taken place, including the important and historical event of Lailat al-Mabit, the migration of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mecca to Medina, the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (peace be upon him), the marriage of Hazrat Among the auspicious events of this month are the beginning of the Imamate of Imam Mahdi and the death of Yazid bin Muawiya with Hazrat Khadijah (peace be upon him).
Imam Khomeini says in his words: The month of Rabi al-Awwal, like other lunar months, has its own actions. Actions are mentioned for the first night and the first day. He also stated that the month of Rabi is the month of unity.It is necessary for Muslims to get to know more about the character of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), his life and history by organizing celebrations and holding meetings, and take full advantage of it to build an Islamic and Muhammadan society.
