Western, Israeli media empire and dominance has collapsed during Israeli aggression on Gaza

A summit has been held to discuss the Palestinian cause in the light of theoretical and practical conduct and life of Imam Khomeini..

The Thursday afternoon gathering was held at Hosseiniah Jamaran with presence of Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Mohammad Javad Zarif, the former Iranian foreign Minister.

Among the other dignitaries who attended the academic session were Hossein Alaei, Masoumeh Ebtekar, Ali Kamsari, representatives of the Palestinian Hamas resistance and Islamic Jihad movements in Tehran.

A group of intellectuals, professors and university and seminary figures delivered speeches and lectures. Among the prominent figures at the summit was Hojjat-al-Islam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s books and works.

Today, we can easily defeat Zionism from media perspectives with resorting to means at our disposal and potentials of intellectuals and there would be no justification for any weakness against Zionism media empire, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said.

The Israelis had built a narratives that and disguised them as victim but at the same time displayed themselves as undefeatable. This dream of Zionism of being undefeatable has now been broken into pieces, he added.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that Israelis had worked hard to create perception of Israel's "invincibility" and "historical oppression". But both have been collapsed by the al-Aqsa Storm operation.

Pointing to bitter realities of history, he noted that Israel always tried to show itself as oppressed and by raising the issue of anti-Semitism in the disguise of victim.

"Anti-Semitism has always existed in history, but not here, but in the West. The Jews were always attacked by the Christians as the murderers of the Prophet Jesus. But what is the relation of that Jew who lives in Poland, Germany and Russia to the murderers of Jesus Christ? This is a valid question, but anyway, in the West, Jews were viewed as "Christ killers". Persecution of Jews was also common and the historical event of the Holocaust also occurred, more or less; But what does this really have to do with us?"

Referring to historical backgrounds, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that the myth of Israel's invincibility was not originally based on the strength of Israel, but on the weakness of the Arabs and Muslims.

“During the First World War, the Balfour Declaration and the end of the Ottoman Empire, why couldn't the Arabs evict a number of immigrants from their region?! Because they were a humiliated nation and Osmani had beaten them into their heads for a lifetime.”

Mentioning the famous Persian proverbs to explain that if the West was responsible for any crimes against Jewish people then why the Muslims should pay for all this

“They (Westerns) can give the German province of Bavaria to the Jews to settle there! Why did they come to Palestine? The Germans killed the Jews and did bad things, well the Jews can visit there!”

Elsewhere, He narrated a historical story and said: One of the companions of Martyr Nawab Safavi had narrated that around 1947, they had gone to Jerusalem al-Quds to participate in a seminar.

The Zionists were standing in front of the venue of the seminar.  The organizers of the seminar directed not to go towards them because they will shoot and kill.

But martyr Nawab Safavi went that way and when he was asked the philosophy of his action? He said that I went to be killed and at least someone would make a sound and it could be heard regarding the Palestinian cause.

He stated that the nation would have esteem which never accepts humiliation or oppression internally or externally. What Imam had revived among Muslims was dignity and the spirit of resistance.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that if people and public masses were behind a government or movement, it would be honored and emerged victorious.

He strongly denounced the Takfiri Daesh terrorists who sowed the seeds of divisions and triggered bloodshed among Muslims

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini concluded by saying that the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza is opportunity for the Muslim world to boost unity and place Palestine as their first issue.

The summit titled “A review of Palestinian developments" which held at Hosseinieh Jamaran, discussed the Palestinian issue and the Israeli aggression that is currently going on against the besieged Palestinian enclave of Gaza. Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that Today's war in Gaza is a "war of wills and a war of the media."

He further explained that the war of wills means that the power of resistance and the power of the people are on one side and the Zionist regime is on the other side.

Explained the media war, he said before the war, the Israelis were always hiding behind a veil of oppression, but thanks to the social networks and platforms which use was previously not encouraged by the religious people have now become beacon of their views and thought.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini reiterated that there had been no excuse for loosing media war to Zionism:

"Today, if we lose in the media war, we would have no satisfactory answer for our conscience, because we have the tools to fight the Zionist empire of lies."

The fact is that in today's world every person is a medium.

For an instance,  Zarif himself is as influential as active media and remains such as al-Jazeera network.

He had been former official and responsible for a period in the Islamic Republic and there is no justification for not using his power and capacity today.

The same is Mr. Khatami, the former president, who himself is a media. It is worthy to mention that each of these characters can have a special impact on the world and therefore it is vital that their capacities should be used.

The summit comes as the Israeli attacks on Gaza have targeted places of gathering, including hospitals, schools, mosques and churches, displacing more than one million in the densely-populated region, which is home to more than 2 million people.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip has so far killed at least 7,000, people and left over 18,000 others wounded.

70% of 8,300 Gaza civilian deaths are women and children

Israel has also blocked water, food and electricity to Gaza, plunging the coastal sliver into a humanitarian crisis.
