Imam suffered harsh conditions during exile in Turkey

It has been reported that Imam suffered harsh conditions and faced sufferings when Imam had been sent into exile into Turkey during 1960s. Imam started living in small town of Bursa in northwestern Turkey. Nobody was allowed to meet Imam and he was also not allowed to wear clergyman dress.

Imam had also not access to basic Islamic sources to write books.

It is worth-mentioning that Imam stayed in Turkey for some months and then from their migrated to the Iraqi holy city of Najaf.
