The 20th biennial of New Delhi World Book Fair organized by the National Book Trust (NBT) concluded on March 4th 2012. International Affairs Department of the Institute for the Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works in cooperation with Iran Culture House in New Delhi participated in this cultural exhibition in order to promote lofty thought and ideals of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (s) on the international scale. The exhibition which began on 25th of February lasted for about ten days until 4th of March, 2012. More than 300 volumes of the Institute’s publications were on public display in both Urdu and English languages. According to the reports, Iranian booth under the title “Imam Khomeini” was welcomed by the visitors of all groups including scholars, researchers, students and those who praise the unique personality of Imam Khomeini (s).
Identifying foreign publishers along with creating a bilateral relationship between Imam’s Institute and publishers of other institutes and organizations, offering cultural consultation, recognizing personalities and scholars who compile their works with regard to Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution, dedicating annual calendar of International Affairs Department to the foreign participants in the area of Islamic studies and political science are the main activities carried out by Iranian delegates. Along with the Institute for the Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works, the Ahlul-Bayt (a.s) World Assembly, Persian Research Center of Iran Culture House and Islamic Revolution Publishers Association had also a presence in this exhibition.
